I am guessing that is one of the first files boot process uses/looks for if not the first. These things i learned created a confusion for me as i did none of those things i read people do before having this error andi couldn't come up with a logical explanation of how anything i did could possibly cause this error. This error is usually an indication of something being wrong with the boot process itself, it isn't necessarily about that specific file. Reinstall windows 10 free upgrade. Most common case of this error's occurrence is when people change/upgrade their hdds or when people add new drives as booting devices to their systems.(saw some cases about uefi/bios formatting issues too.)Now, i'm sure you already know these things but my purpose in telling them isn't to inform you. It is to clarify how i see things.
