As, Canon has communicated to you that there are no drivers for Windows 7- 64 bit version we might not be able to help much.
Windows 10 64-bit LiDe 35 Driver Install sachiel said: PS. That scanner does have a set of Vista x86 drivers, but the LiDE 60 has a set of Vista x64 drivers that work on the 35 and 10 x64. Windows 7: Canoscan LiDE 35 Windows 7 64bit driver. Such a good scanner this one, so glad my friend gave it to me after he couldn't get it to work all those years ago on Vista 64! Cheers Andy hehehe Canon, you should be ashamed of yourselves, you know damn well that this printer works perfectly on 64bit!!
However I suggest you to install the drivers in Compatibilty mode and check if that can help.
Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install them in Vista Compatibility mode as the drivers are compatible with Vista Operating system.

Download and save the driver file and install the driver Compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the Drivers in Compatibility mode:
1. Locate the executable file(.exe file) for the driver installation program.
2. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.
3. In the PackageName Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
4. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows Vista in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.
5. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.
